A day to remember
.
I was so thrilled when I recieved the invitation 5 days before the event day. I couldn't stop smiling and dreaming about this moment of meeting the red sole shoe artist,I've always thought about him as a true artist.

Mr. Louboutin, Thank you for being here and giving kuwait a chance in your shoe signing events!
thats what my 1st sentence for him.. Then he said : No, Thank YOU for being here for me. thank you for Your time!

He is such an awesome man. you can only admire every bit of him. then he started chatting with me about me .. I already posted a pic in insta about this topic, will include it at the end of this post.
So sweet of you Mr.louboutin, I will learn French and when I meet you again we will have the same conversation In french ;)

    One of the Books I owned during the time of Kuwait BookFair(2012) is Suha Alawadhi's Book ( نساء م - رجال م) .. This book is Suha's 1st release which was back at 2006. and to be honest, I didn't buy it from the fair.
I got it from an outside source. (Thank U!)

It's the kind of book that says, Quality over quantity. when I 1st handled the book, I had in mind that I will finish this book in one night. gonna be light and a sweet read.

but I was half wrong.

this book is not only light and sweet, it holds deep meanings and true stories in each segment you read.
whether you are a lady or a gentelman. you will find at least one page in this book that reflects your image in it. a mirror image.

If not. each segment you read or each chapter you go through makes you wonder, if this is a closure to a long struggled story, or the begining to an unknown adventure.

Suha made me go though her pages more than twice, her words make you open up your imaginative self. and  make you  look between the pages to find which (woman/man) reflect you or part of you.

Though the book is devided into 2 main segments. one talking from woman point of view and the other part, from man point of view. you will find both "feelings" in each page. you may even find a man side that reflects you even if you are a woman urself. and vice versa. cuz feelings and heart doesn't know a gender.




Now I know what to call this book. It's a book of feelings. Thats the way I see it. thats the way I read it, and enjoyed it.

Thank you Suha for the catchy writings. Thanks for the dedication.

Oh My God 😯! ... This is taking me so long.. I promised a while ago. That I'll be making over my vanity and go through my make up .. Keep the good and throw the outdated ones.
Taking baby steps ! Better late than never .. I have the 1st grave yard post ready .. It's lipstick grave yard .. So lets go through what I'm not keeping ..

This is vantage! Mark and spencer classic lipsticks .. I have no idea why I was obsessed with browns! I uses to stack up from those lipsticks, the shades are ( sheer mink, mink, purple rain, almond rose ) I guess the shades are effected by the age of those lipsticks ... Off to the graveyard!





On the left and on the right are revlon and loreal lipsticks in ( icy beige and color rich 463) in the middle are no identity ones .. Again .. Browns !! ... Off to the graveyard.





From left to right : Bobbi brown in sandwich pink ( looooove this lipstick but it's spoiled as 7azarat from storage). Bourjois in ( beige chic) and HR shade #118 ( seriously Sandy !!!! Fair skin and that shade of brown) ... Off to the graveyard ..





2 MAC lipstick in ( folio and vista ) those tow are going back to MAC store for a recycle .. By now I can get 2 free lipsticks for the exchange of empty Mac makeup packs.

I guess nudes and browns was a trend at that time! It's totally the opposite of what I wear now.

Make up brushes ! A girl can never have enough! But this isn't the case with me. Brushes is the only thing I don't stack up!
To me I buy only what I need to use.

6 months back I throw away all my brushes and bought a whole set of brushes from Sephora! Most of the brushes I have now are dead and need to go to the grave yard ! Sorry Sephora I don't recommend your brushes ( will have a post about my make up grave yard later on!)

I had a list of wanted brushes from MAC . But most of my friends and girl relatives told me that why pay 100+ KD on brushes while there is Sigma!!!

So ... I ordered Sigma essential brushes set .. After gazing at the screen for more than 15 minutes not knowing which color to choose ! LOL

I've decided on make me blush set! Pinky pinkish ! Me like!





The leather hard case is one of the main great reasons for this set .. Keep them save or turn it into 2 brushes holders. And the color ! 💕




The brushes were neatly sealed together in a plastic bag .. While each brush were sealed in a individual plastic bag of itself .. Large brushes had a plastic permanent cover to keep the shape after using and washing.




12 high quality brushes ! Love them!





A guide to what each brush is for .. Those are not rules, of course .. You can use whatever for whatever u wanna create .. Just explore.

I still keep few of my MAC brushes and small sets ( MAC brushes never die !) will post about them later on as well.

I'm about to have a vanity extreme makeover ! So expect a big wave of make up posts. Will have posts about my London trips in between. Whenever I have my pics ready !

Now I have pic from google about the sets colors. ( I know it's not new news .. Just to complete the post XP )

And I was There .... 4:30 sharp I was outta the entrance of the Walkin Closet, to see a lovely cute shooting set as garden theme. vintage and colorful one. and Here she was ! Lady Fozaza "and her Blazers" Getting ready for a photo shoot setting.

Very Cute Lady, Down to earth youthful and bright personality. I had a little chat with her before her photo shoot. she is the kind of a lady that chat withs you like she had known you since forever! mashallah 3alaihaa etdish el galb in a second!.
in the picture above she is starting the photo shoot. loved the neon wigs the salse ladies have on! can't wait to see the pictures!.

who follow me on instagram, know that in the previous week, I had a small work shop about Feng Shui at work with 5 other girls. (my work friends). one of them ( the one who lead the workshop) was interested about this topic, she read books and attended lectures about it. she actually applied it to her office, home, and basically most of her life aspects. always saying that good stuff keep coming to her and it has nothing to do with the Feng Shui rules. cuz she did not want to be accused of not believing in god.

but we told her we are kinda intrested in doing this at least to work ... why?
we spen a lot of time at work .... 6-8 hours daily ... setting at our cubical s and staring at the PC screen ,, with all the negative energy coming out from it. many papers here and there .. I personally thought i had a tidy cubical ,,, I was SO WRONG .. LOL

anyways ,,, it's a whole world by itself ,, so in this post I'm just gonna mention what do you need to do in order to make a room/house/desk Feng Shui-ed righ.

we simply followed the picture below :

if you are applying the rules to a room .. black square is where ppl 1st enter the room. you should then arrange ur stuff and colors regarding the diagram above,
if its an office/desk.cubical .. red is what (who comes towords ur cubical) see first ,, say if you boss is coming to you,, from where he will come.. ur back? ur face? .. 1st rule is he shoulf face the red square 1st ,, then arrange the rest of squares after setting where the red should be.
easy way is to have this full diagram as a print ,, tilt and rotate to ur rule and then u will know where to put what ...

There is a lot of diagrams out there that can help you Feng Shui ur office ..

Good Morning.
As early Bird as I can be, I reached work at 7:15.
been handed this menu by a new resturant that is specialized with Club sandwiches.
I liked the idea of having 15 different kind of flavoured toast. remided me of the toast maker we used to have. where mom was creating what ever kind of salty or sweet toast, it always turned out great in taste.
anyways,
here is some snapshots of the menu.
we might give it a try today! waiting for the girls to arrive :P

This dress comes with as many colors as u you can  think of. It will make a nice basic casual chic top/dress over skinny jeans/tights.





As Seen on K-town Malls. Scarf is always the perfect completion to Any outfit.
Why shouldn't I trust our fashion street, Kuwait girls are the fine fashionistas of all times ;)

Here is How I see the painting, My own personal understanding.

It is holding a mixture between the tradition rules and regulations along with the want to be loved. A kiss on the hand always means respect. the way the man is seated is modern and sexy. including ghutra as a traditional part. the way the women is seated shows how she is passionate about her man. while dressed traditionally head to before her feet, cuz her feet is dressed with modern sexy heels. the way they are holding hands. Mixing their fingers is So sweet and shows a real Strong Connection. And they are sitting in a living room which  represent society or a place where you socialize with other people. That shows the Want to Open Up about those feelings and the want to live a Love Story in such a hard Society.

That could be completely different that what the owner of the painter had in her mind. But, this is the way I personally see it.

Those are the guys with the famous Kuwait old flag art.

I remember shooting it! But I could not find it ;(
Anyways .. Here is a shot of a vintage cupcake layers tray.

Very cute? Note the soda cap coaster. A piece of art created by recycling soda bottles caps.

I toke an eye cream ( so far so good ) I'm using it for a week now. And a rose water spray .. Which is a normal rose water in a spray bottle.
